UPDATES:
NOVEMBER 25, 2012
Weighed 150.4 lbs He has had several seizures (every three months to the day). He is doing well though. Boomer just celebrated his "Return Home" Anniversary Date - Nov 19th. It's been a year. We love this boy with all our heart!
JANUARY 2013
Boomer started taking medication for his seizures in October to try to prevent from having a seizure in December. We estimated he would have a seizure on December 15th, 2012. We tweaked his medication dosage and have him on a very low dose of Phenobarbital. To date, Jan 23rd, 2013 he has not had a seizure. Hooray!!!

Boomer - 2 yrs old
This picture was taken Dec 2011. Boomer is now in GREAT health and weighs approx 145-146 lbs. He is as tall as Gunther - 39 - 39 1/2 inches tall. He is 36" long as well. He is a big boy. He is absolutely adorable with that look on his face.
He is a daddy's boy. He NEEDS his daddy. He must be touching Luke at all times. He hunts him down. He will go sneak into our room before the others know Luke is awake and climb into bed for some daddy snuggle time.
He talks to us. He has his own unique language and if you talk back you get him rowdy. He gets very animated and goes haywire.
When he was returned to us we were told he had a seizure in May 2011, Sept 2011 and he had one Dec 26, 2011 with us and again June 16th, and Sept 15th, 2012. They have all been Grand Mal seizures with no explanation as to why. A heart murmur Grade 1-2, more on the Grade 1 side or improving to Grade 1 we should say was also detected the first time I took him for a full examination with my vets (about a month after I had him). We are unsure of the quality of care he received prior to coming back home to us. Rest assured - he is in the lap of luxury now!

Boomer has come home to live with his birth mother, momma Bella, and his two brothers, Gunther and Levi… oh, and of course, momma Brenda and daddy Luke.
His family could no longer meet his needs.
